Woman Laundry Worker Seriously injured
A woman loading towels into an industrial steamer at the dry cleaners she worked at was crushed when her scarf became caught in the machine.
Limin Min Huang, 32, was pronounced brain dead after the freak accident at 4:45pm on Wednesday at An Huan Laundry Service in Queens, New York.
Hong Zhang, the manager of the dry cleaners explained: ‘She was looking into the machine and she forgot she had something on her neck.
‘The machine pulled her and then the machine stopped.’
The woman had worked there for three years, and lived in nearby Flushing with her husband, he added.
