Stop in and say hello!

Hello all.
Sorry this may be a little long but I dont really know if I'll be accepted here. I'm not sure if everyone here is upper management or owners but I've read many of the posts here and I really feel like you guys are speaking my language.
I stumbled upon this site recently. I have been in the laundry industry about 11 years. In the 1st 4 years I worked my way up from: soil sorter, CBW loader, wash floor catcher, Ellis and Milnor washer extractor operator, operating stand alone Norman dryers, operating Senking CBW's and finally making it to maintenance. That company was bought out and I got hired by a new company as CBW lead/maintenance for 2 brand new 250lb Milnor CBWs. I had my hands on pretty much everything that happened with the CBW's extractors, dryers, and E-tech rails. Im also very familiar with: Braun; Alpha, Omega, Sigma, Theta's, Chicago edge's and Skyline's and Kannegiesser Ironers. Installing the new plant was exciting and in the years after that I feel I really molded the CBW area to be as efficient as possible but while also keeping our customers happy it as we reached nearly 600,000lb's shipped a week.
I'm on vacation now but looking for work in Germany if anyone has any possible leads let me know please.
Also I'm wanting to tour some high end laundries here in Germany to compare them to my old setup because everyone in the States always said Europe is 15 years ahead of the USA in this industry and my old plant was suposed to be top of the line so I'm pretty curious to compare. So if anyone knows any high end plants here let me know =)

No, I am not German, I live in Estonia. But i was draged (by Kannegiesser and Jensen-Senking) between German laundries a lot back in 2004-2007 when our laundry was renovated and both companies wanted to win the tender to get the foothold in Baltic States.
As I have understood, in this great forum there are lot of users from Europe too, including Germany.

If You are in Frankfurt, then You must try to visit Zischka Textilpflege. It is only 100 km (about 60 miles) from Darmstadt, the address is: Industriepark 10 55469 Simmern / Hunsrück Georg Zischka, CEO Telefon: +49 6761 5091 mail@zischka-textilpflege.deNo German laundry will run on Sunday or Holidays (Easter!) because this is so costly (labour costs!), very few will run on Saturday.

thanks Saarmas I've been looking in to how i would get to Zischka its about 1 hour and 20 mins away and i couldn't find any trains out that way. I have another question maybe you can help me with. This may seem a little dumb but if i was trying to look up German healthcare laundries in Germany on Google maps what would i look up ? I tried textilpfleg but seems like the only thing that pops up is dry cleaners. I'm currently staying in Gernsiem and unless all hospitals around here do their own laundry there has to be some industrial healthcare laundries in the area i could apply at.

German industrial laundries usually make both - healthcare and hotels. The laundry layout is suitable for both, fulfilling strict German hygiene standards for hospitals (clean side/dirty side, barrier wall between them, no pre-sorting of the items, sorting of the items takes place after dryers, etc.). Maybe the best option would be if You could send an email to Peter Kozlowski, pkozlowski@kannegiesser.de, speaks english. He can recommend laudries near You, they know them all.
