Have several Commercial Wascomat front load washers that all require 3 phase electrical connection. My question is if they can be converted to 2 phase (220) somehow and work? Or you must use 3 phase, and cannot be changed?They were all used in a laundromat and want to use in residential home.

You can use a VFD to convert your single phase supply to three phase output. No need to touch the motor.
