anyone else have issues with the stainless steel rope used to hold the double drum seal down? Constantly having them pull apart at the crimped part. What have you done to remedy that?

Can anyone help me with changing the settings associated with the "Semi Auto Button" which is used to get the LP571 press to drive the ram down and then unload the cake. At the moment the button only operates the press until it reaches maximum pressure and then immediately releases and unloads.
I want to change the time setting for the press duration.

Does anyone know the procedure to flush out old hydraulic. We cleaned the tank out before, but would like to add flushing oil as manual states, but does not give any procedures. Not sure if we should run press with mixture of flush oil or just add into tank then remove and clean.
Would really appreceiate any help if someone has done this before.

I work in a fairly large laundry between two large resorts. We are trying to put together a PM Maitenance schedule. I have found manuals on line for some of our equipment that have a section about PM Maitenance. However I am having troubles finding manuals on our older equipment. Does anybody know if the original ABM gearboxes for the tunnels are availible? I was told that ABM quit making them after Lavatec closed a while back, but are considering making them again because of the numerous request they have gotten.

Has anyone purchased any "New" machinery from the "New" lavatec laundry yet that can comment on it? I heard their prices are much higher than they used to be from one that recieved quotes.

we run an oldish program to run the cbw's (its dos/win98) we are currently running the software from a win98 laptop, but have managed to find a suitable win98 se pc, we have the program files on floppy disks and now copied to the pc hard drive, (wm_data.dat, dos1.dat.... so on), but when we double click the files to run the program it doesnt start, or run them from a dos prompt, i have a ...

need some help here, the continental membrane on our press is always building up a very sticky residue on its outer side, witch transfer to the inside of the basket and stain our linen, we have tried 3 membrane in a year.
the residue can be wash off quite easily with some undiluted hand soap,
we have change the seal on main cylinder cause we had some oil leak but it did not fix the ...

one of our dryers has an erratic inlet temp. sometimes reading 00 other times reading 50-66c when the drying program is set to 180 (inlet) 100 (outlet). We know the dryer is reaching full temperature, the work is coming out dry, but so far have not been able to pin down why this fault is happening, could anyone offer some advice?
