Where I work has the higher code. I use K and silver in most places for fire rating not a pressure issue.

What higher fire rating does this give you?

I does give a higher fire rating but its fire code classification I do not know. But where I work now all air piping is iron!! No copper anywhere.

Thanks for the information. Still after 40+ years after college, there is so much to learn!

I went fly fishing with some friends the Saturday before Clean Show 2017;
5 of us were scheduled to fish, only three of us made it.
1 drove down from Seattle; & two of us from Las Vegas.
We fished a little lake 200 miles north of Las Vegas.
1 caught 26 fish
1 caught about the same
& 1 caught 1 fish!
It's all about the fly that you choose!!
