Is anyone else having a problem with ordering Chicago, having a delivery date given at that time, then it is delayed for weeks or months beyond?? I have heard that is a problem from some of the customers that I visit.

How long have you waited?
What did they quote you as delivery when you placed the order?

were quoted 12 weeks shipment; ended up over 16. Reasons given were 'other' customers had a priority due to "whatever"

In checking with a few others in a similar situation, experienced the same thing, last minute delays with no clear explanation.

Thats not good.
It is never good for a vendor to give "poor" answers to customers concerns.
Next time, if you ever purchase from Chicago again, try:
A price reduction if delivery is delayed.
At time of issuing the P.O. enter an agreement such as:

Full price if delivery is made on time,
2% deduct for each week, or part there of, for late delivery.

Great ideas. Not too sure that another purchase will come from Chicago based on this history. Thanks for the good ideas!
